Upper Eyelid Blepharoplasty

The first sign of facial aging is often seen in the eyes, and this is due to the upper eyelid skin loosening, wrinkling and drooping over the eyelashes, sometimes covering one's vision. Dr. Patrick Yang provides surgery to remove a judicious amount of skin, resulting in a natural, rejuvenated appearance.

Lower Eyelid Blepharoplasty

As a person's face ages, the layer of tissue that holds the orbital fat loosens, resulting in pouching forward of the lower eyelid fat pads and the appearance of "bags" under the eyes. Dr. Yang is an expert in performing lower eyelid surgery through the inside aspect of the eyelid (transconjunctival), to avoid scarring on the external lower eyelid. This surgery flattens these fat pads and helps tighten the loose skin under the eyes, rejuvenating one’s appearance.

Dr. Patrick Yang has spent two years training with world experts in Asian eyelid surgery at the University of California, San Diego. During his time there, he worked with many visiting doctors from Korea, Thailand, China and Japan who have travelled specifically to learn eyelid surgery from his mentors. Dr. Yang understands the target result that Asian patients are seeking in terms of double eyelid crease depth and contour as well as nasal eyelid surgery (epicanthoplasty), resulting in naturally appearing beautiful eyes.

Dr. Yang has given lectures on Asian double eyelid surgery in Mexico, Brazil, Japan, Taiwan and Korea.

By utilizing the natural wrinkles and aesthetic subunits of the face, Dr. Yang can remove lumps, bumps, moles, and lesions around the face in a fashion that minimizes the appearance of the incision or blemish.

Dr. Yang has spent time training with world experts in Dermatology and facial fillers in Hollywood California. He has co-published on the facial anatomy of aging, and on the topic of proper placement of cosmetic hyaluronic acid fillers. Dr. Yang performs neuromodulator (eg. Botox, Dysport, Xeomin, Newtox) injections to the forehead, peri-ocular and facial regions in order to provide non-surgical eyebrow lifts, forehead, eye corner (aka "crows feet"), and perioral wrinkle treatment, as well as face and cheek slimming injections.
